Lidocaine Powder

January 16, 2007 |

Lidocaine powder, This is the 15th day Clayton has gone to sleep without being nursed. I'm so proud of him. Just a month ago, I was still scratching my head wondering how am I going to wean him without much trauma, lidocaine and prilocaine. I have tolerated lots of cynical comments for the past few months on prolonged breastfeeding but I stood firm.

This breastfeeding journey was initially an uphill task but with the support of a local breastfeeding community, Lidocaine jelly syringe, my lactation consultant and many experienced mothers, plus lots of breastfeeding websites and resources, I did it. In case you are wondering why I persisted despite those challenges, lidocaine trigger points, deprived sleep and sacrifices, here are some important truths about breastfeeding:

1) Breast-fed babies are less prone to illness than bottle-fed babies 2) Breast milk is more digestible than cow's milk 3) Breast-fed babies rarely become overweight 4) It is convenient (that's how I started travelling singlehandedly with Clayton when he was 3 months old) 5) It helps you to shed those extra pounds faster 6) Breastfeeding may provide some protection against cancer.
